Really like that Louis - the path, pebbles and circle and of course, the ferns. Just love it !

21 Nov, 2009

Lovely area! I just want to hide in there with a book!
And some red stuff!
:~))))

Thank you very much ladies.....The tree by the gate is a contorted pear tree, and it's my back garden, leading to the courtyard. Very easy border to maintain, as they look after themselves, apart from pruning the contorted pear tree once a year.....and yes Madperth dissapear, with a book and a glass or two of the red stuff LOL.

22 Nov, 2009

I'm all for that Ree!!

23 Nov, 2009

Yep! How many seats are there, Louis?

23 Nov, 2009

Hi Madperth, in the Taverna, there are 4 chairs and a table, on the courtyard, I have two chairs with a table and a low wall all around, where we can sit, then where I have the grasses, there's a bench (and arbor), then on the lower patio, I have a table and 6 chairs and another low wall around it where we can sit, also outside the greenhouse there is a bench......so take your pick whether you want to sit on the shade or sun LOL
Have you seen my pics of the greenhouse? There's a couple of bottles of the red stuff waiting for you hahaha!!!! I didn't realized it, until Annella pointed it out to me yesterday LOL

24 Nov, 2009

Sounds like plenty of seats for us then.....lol

24 Nov, 2009

Hahahaha....but Amblealice, there wont be any gardening done then ...LOL

24 Nov, 2009

So...? gotta have some time off for good behaviour.....lol.......all work and no play etc.,,,,,

24 Nov, 2009

You know what Amblealice.......You are absolutely right, we need time to chill out, after all the hard grafting around the garden. We can all have a "Garden Re-Union Party" after Summer's gone ....lol

24 Nov, 2009

Splendid idea Louis.....do you want us girls to arrange it .....or are you a good multi-tasking male.....you look as if you might be.....:))

24 Nov, 2009

Hasnt anyone told you its winter? Are you going to magic us up some sunshine, Louis? I like to sit in the sun, thanks! Or the greenhouse if the red stuff's there! Lol!

24 Nov, 2009

We should be ok if he puts the greenhouse heater on....be a bit of a squash though....he'l have to clear the benches and we can all perch on there...ha.ha.::))

25 Nov, 2009

Hahahaa The greenhouse is a no go area, as it's full..........sorry, but I tell you what I'll do...... I'll open a bottle of the red stuff, and have a toast on you girls...........CHEERS !!!! How about that. Is everyone happy now hehe !!!

25 Nov, 2009

Thank you DD2.......I will have a look at your blog and see, what can be done....as for me fee...for a GOY, it has to be "cheap as chips", how about that haha....!!!

25 Nov, 2009

Ten penny worth do you?

26 Nov, 2009

What happened to my invite girls? I spotted the bottles ((((-:
P.S Watch out for that lot Louis

26 Nov, 2009

I will, I will, Annella....They're organizing my life now LOL !!!

26 Nov, 2009

I was concerned when they asked if you multi task !!?!! Take a look at my blog and see if you can spot a good place for a Fatsia ( I want this advice for free) LOL ((-:

26 Nov, 2009

Hahahaaa, all my advices are for free, to my GOY friends, so don't panic Annella LOL !! I like to see the Fatsia, so I planted one in front of my french doors. Now every time I'm in the kitchen, it's there in my view, and the bigger it gets, the better the view. So if I was you, I would plant it in front of your conservatory. I like them so much, that I have 4 or 5 of them lol.
PS.... So now I am a multi task.... I missed that one, coz I can't remember hehehehe!!!! You have hawk eyes, as you don't miss a trick LOL :-))

26 Nov, 2009

23 May, 2011

Are the pebbles on black lining or similar, Louis? I've acquired lots of stones for around my pond to try and reduce maintenance. Should they sit on garden liner of some kind? Would really appreciate some advice.......

25 May, 2011

Hi Minihoney, Yes, my pebbles are on a weed suppressing membrane, which you can get it from any garden centre or DIY stores. It will make life so much easier for you in the long run. Good luck and hope you post some pictures once you have done it .........
