I had two new Fuchsias this year, Janey, 'Lady Thumb' and one of the 'Diva' series, and my 2 year grandaughter trampled both. (sometimes love is hard)

Oh, no Vincent....thats a shame...did you manage to salvage a cutting from them?
Ian cleaned the greenhouse out the other day, soon be time to put them away......:o(

They are still growing, Janey, but will they survive outside this winter outside? because they will have to. I don't bring them inside. Time will tell if they pull through.

Mmmmm.....not so sure Vincent.....do you have a sheltered spot? You could wrap them round with bubble-wrap to keep the temp up a bit.....:o)

Lady thumb should certainly get through the winter ok....tough as old boots (sorry ma'am).lol

FlCrazy, the plant you are looking for is Sambucus racemosa 'Sutherland Gold', there is another (which I had) called S. r. 'Plumosa Aurea' but it is a good deal bigger (about 3m) but you can always prune it hard.
