great job user, can you leave your young plants in over winter or is it for starting , im never sure what we use these for, sorry if i seem a bit thick lol

yes I can put young plants, cuttings, seedlings etc in it. put tender plants in over winter and store bulbs and things, as well as using it as a mini greenhouse in the summer.

thats great user, so if i line my growhouse i can do the same in that can i?

yes you can get fleece type covers for them, i,ve ordered a tall one which comes with a fleece type of winter cover as well as the normal clear one.
i,ll just add some extra fleece to the shelves for more protection.
you get good sized fleece from the poundshops.

Is the lid a plastic or glass? After seeing this picture I could kick myself for getting rid of a nice sheet of glass that was left behind when we moved in our new house....

it,s plastic as there are kids with footballs about..lol, glass would be even better as it keeps the heat better.
