Building a cobble stone road

It is done now and it looks like it has been there for centuries. They had to rip it apart because of some new pipes went underneath. Walking on this surface is very difficult. Even dangerous for older person. They are cementing it in but most of these roads are set in the sand....dirt to be more accurate. The village is over 600years old.

Interesting ,they have some old cobbled streets in Norwich they are difficult to walk on I wouldn't try it in high heels !

No, no high heels here :-) Sneakers are better shoes to use.
Labour is cheap here as are the stones.

I've never seen cobbled streets actually under construction! Very interesting... added to GoYpedia !
