Very surprising it's blooming during the day...these types of Cacti typically bloom at night. Very pretty cactus!

Thanks...its just a shame they only last a day.............

It is a shame...I know the ones in the ground here will bloom a few nights before they die, then they set edible red fruit.

The Cactus here are huge like trees and have dozens of flowers.

This one has another 3 blooms starting, so its doing quite well for such a small one............Must be lovely to see a cactus that huge Andy...........

My neighbor 3 houses down my street has this cactus which is only about 8 feet/ 2.5 meter tall. It has several flower buds though.
