About this plant

Genus: Clematis.

Species: Clematis sieboldii.

Creamy white flowers with a tuft of small purple petals in the centre. I once saw this growing through a purple leaved cotinus cogygria and am trying for the same effect. However, it is not a very vigorous clematis and has been slow to get off the blocks.
