Eucryphia lucida 'Pink Cloud'

A sheltered spot in sun or semi-shade, with moist but well-drained soil, neutral to acid. Needs to be sheltered from cold north and east winds. open flowers may be damaged by late spring frosts in sunny exposed sites. Prune to shape or remove any unwanted branches immediately after flowering time. Top dress every spring with peat.

A beautiful large evergreen shrub, which produces small soft-pink flowers deepening to rose in the centre, in June-July. Ht.3m.

It survives, but it hasn't flowered, or even grown very much. It's evergreen though, and hides a bit of fence to the left of the winter flowering cherry tree.
