Cherry Plum
I have a cherry plum tree, covered early spring with blossom and later with fruit, and also a cherry plum hedge, 12 trees, which barely flower and never fruit though I understood they would when I bought them. I suspect I am pruning at the wrong time, I trim back lightly in July and tidy up less lightly in November. For the tree, I do nothing except pinch out leaders when it spreads too far.
Any guidance would be welcome!
