I was following a link kindy supplied by Samjp, and happened across this: 101 things for kids to do utdoors.
With holidays coming up, might be a few that will keep your sprogs busy

lol it might be fun for grown-ups to have a go at some of them, as well!
the list has some links to pages that explain how to do that activity, but many don’t – typically, these are the ones that sound most interesting! maybe someon knows how to do them, or how to play the games that I’ve no idea about.
ps if anyone tries any of these, can we have pics???

Fran that is a cracking find, thanks for posting it. Some of those ideas look like really good fun.
I read a bit more of the blog; the bit about bossy buds and pruning apple trees is quite amusing.

I saved the link for the main list, and for the otehr psages that list gave links to, but not actually read any of it yet, or not more than a brief skim. but the pages are safe to be read later - if I can identify those links amongst a couple of thousand others!
I used to know semparhore from being a Cub leader, so I could do with re-learning it, though who I'd be signalling to is a bit of a puzzle!
