Thank goodness it is not so hot today.

We were out last night with the hose, giving the garden a much needed drink.

The front borders have sprouted more weeds and some plants I am not too sure of, so they are coming out.

The pink poppy is out in the back and the rose on the arch has a bud thats showing colour.

OH is a bit concerned about the sweetcorn yet again, we had a brief spat about them last night. He has always grown them from seed before. The seedlings he bought do not seem to like our soil, or something.

I still have some geraniums to plant out. I am going to plant them in troughs, the garden is so dry I would have a job to get through the soil to plant them.

I have not been in the garden at all today, had some ironing that was calling to me and decided it was time I did some clearing up in my sewing room…..that was a mistake, but too long a story to tell.
