I too want to know about the second picture as my garden is now full of them. In the third picture are probably the same when started rotting.

Cut-throat razors, BB - now there's a memory! My father sharpening his on the razor strop, wearing a vest and braces, getting ready to shave and putting a blob of shaving soap on my nose. All a very long time ago and nothing to do with the quiz, sorry.

Some lovely pics there, CM. Not well up on fungi but think last one/two may be enkianthus as I planted one in my garden earlier this year - otherwise would not have known.

10 = Bryony
12 = Wayfaring tree (Viburnum lanata) ?
13 = as above
14 = Snowberry
15 and 16 = Spindle tree ?
