Silverdale Nursery

By cmsue

On Saturday we went to the home of the National Hardy Fuchsia Collection Nursery in Combe Martin, N Devon.
It also has other plants like these Alpines.
Also this nice Clematis plant.

It was just a shame that it was so early in the season the Fuchsia’s were not in flower.

You'll have to go back later in the year when the fuchsias are blooming Sue - I bet that's a spectacular sight.

Great pic's I will have to see how far Come Martin is from us, wouldn't mind a trip there.

Oh I'd love to go there. Pitty I suffer from agoraphobia these days. When I was all right I spent a few holidays in the N Devon area. My Grampa's family came from there, and I used to go to see where they lived.
Pitty the fuchsias were not in flower when you visited. Maybe you could go again later in the summer :)

We have been visiting North Devon for many years. We discovered the Silverdale Nursery some years back and ALWAYS call in to buy a small collection of their hardy fuchsias. We just love it!
