Hi everybody
The answer is paint( not walls i hate them ).So when i was e mailed a set of paintings by one Alfredo Rodriguez I was so taken by them that i decied to copy one as an exercise for painting the hands, something I do not do well.
Part way through painting i read Healerwitch Blog Trail of Tears Which i loved and decided i would put a twist on the original painting and substitute a candlestick on the table with a simple valse with Rosa laevigata ( the Cherokee Rose)as we all like roses so thought you may like to see it.

For those of you that like paintings of the American west 150 years ago it is well worth a look it is in the form of a slide show with music. just send E Mail and I will pass it on.there is also individual paitings by Googling the painters name.I canot show the original on GOU as it may infringe a copy write

Wow that is so lovely. Have I understood correctly - you painted this yourself? That is brilliant. Will look at what you suggested later.

i don't normally take much notice of paintings they usually are of scenery or people in action but generally they don't tell a story as well.

your painting is stunning to me and tells a story as well.
the face has captured the moment so well
i feel i am praying with her
