I have heard that winter weather e.g frosts and snow are on the way 3 MONTHS EARLY! If that is so, I will need to fleece up vulnerable plants soon.

Also, a warning to others out there.

We don't usually get frost here until late Oct at the earliest. Sometimes not until the end of the year.

Hywel, in your garden, you wouldn't find the frost in all that undergrowth... like a protective layer.. ;o)

It is more liable to hit us first in the north Alex. We have high winds and rain at the moment, which is keeping the temperature reasonable.
Both my sons live in London and it always feels so much warmer there. Lets hope we have a few more weeks before freezing!!!

It's very warm here, still, about 19 or 20 most days and will cool off at the end of October really.
Like Linda, we're being battered by very strong winds :-(((((
We get similar weather to Hywels - rarely see a frost until December or January :-)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Suits me fine !!!!!
