Despite the powerful winds i couldn’t help feeling a sense of beauty in the way the leaves have formed on my two lawns. A natural pattern of delicate leaves which will become part of natures food store for some of my plants. In my excitement to prepare for spring sowing i really never looked at the constant chain of activity taking place throughout the winter months in my garden. I looked out from a warm lounge and thought well i,m OK but never realized that in the most inclement weather nature was preparing a basis for my enjoyment in spring and indeed for the year. Well i am an amateur gardener but i am beginning to realize that the true plant season is really 12 months every year. Hope you enjoy the read take care all.

Lovely blog 230 sounds like cp30 lol Yes nature does her course work collected leaves we call black gold if put into black sacks with a few air holes tie and shake now and then makes the best compost, also leaves do protect your roots of plants if you pile them around the roots of your plants.
