Motto be prepaired, the cold weather appears to be on its way again. I have found the strong winds more damaging to my greenhouse than snow. Result being my polycarbonate panels have 7 or 8 spring pins each to secure them. Last year had to inquire on neighbours to retreive 3 panels blown away. Out side water taps wrapped in cloth, Water butt emptied and secured. Lightley greased all outdoor tools and greenhouse door runners. Put new felt roof on my shed to keep the rain off. Guess thats about it. Shovel at the ready and wellingtons on stand by. Plenty of bird food in feeders little fellows do suffer this time of the year. Cactus warm in propagator. Good heavens i forgot about the house. Take care all enjoy and HAPPY XMAS ALL.

when the girls were little I used to get them to tidy theor room by saying 'if father Christas sees all these toys on the floor he will think he has already been to you, and he wont stop so you'll not have any new toys.' It worked a treat but now they dont believe me. :-(
