Hiya Pop, very wobbly fencing here but so much better off than a lot of people, its horrible to see what some parts of the country are having to endure and judging by todays performance no letup for them as of yet.

Hi pop....we have been lucky so far here in the north. I have been looking at the seed catalogues. I got a nice one from Chiltern Seeds. Today as I took down our outdoor Christmas light I had a feeling of the Spring. Something about the light....

No damage in the garden except a cistus got half blown out of the ground, but a lot down at the coast where the sea came in too far and broke the defences in some places.
But I have discovered what's making a little footpath over one of our banks - saw a badger's footprint quite clearly. Disappointing as I thought they'd been dissuaded from coming. But it takes a lot to alter their habits so its probably a losing battle. It can't even be bothered to walk about 18" out of its way to go round a polythene tunnel cloche - goes over the top and every day its all dented again.
