Inside, looking out!

Just a short blog to show you different views of the garden from each of our windows.

There should be more colour but a deer has been eating our roses just as they were about to flower……..oh yes, and our sweet peas and our geraniums and our hostas!!! It is a wonder we have any plants left!!!

Let’s start upstairs.

View from dining room window next.

Looking out of the front door.

View of the pond from the lounge – actually there is no sign of the pond on this photo but it IS there somewhere!

Another upstairs view.

At last a bit of colour thanks to pelargoniums in the porch!

Last but not least, a view of the Virginia Creeper from the ‘smallest room in the house!’

It has been a beautiful day today, I hope that you have had warm sunshine too.

I think you have some lovely mature trees in and around your garden giving it a really secluded feel!

Lovely views from your house Wildrose. So I am not alone having a deer problem :-). I just whine about it more than others.

it looks beautiful even if the deer have chewed off more than they should, and I moan about a little rabbit chewing off my plants. Swings and roundabouts I suppose. lol love to see them hate them when they do our gardens damage. Still a beautiful set of pictures lovely views from every direction.

Thanks for showing such lovely views of your garden - pleasant scenes from every window :)
We had a nice day yesterday too, but today it's raining again ...

Thank you for your lovely comments.

The garden is secluded eventhough we are in the centre of our small village. I can easily hide away!!

We have now hung up wind chimes and ordered a solar light to deter the deer but have left it rather late for this year I fear! I just have to imagine what the roses ought to look like!!

Oh yes, a badger is clawing at our potatoes!

'Escape to the country' - think twice!!!

I love a garden with lots of trees and a nice lawn Wildrose.

It is sad to lose plants - it's slugs and snails here, sadly, so not even a thrill to spot them! But the green is so lovely. As Gertrude Jekyll said, green is also a colour! Not much consolation, perhaps. But your garden is really beautiful nonetheless ☺️ And we've had a couple of warm, sunny days here, too!

The garden looks really well established, especially the trees. I love trees, but my garden isn't really big enough to incorporate any. Deer are lovely creatures, but the ones raiding your garden of its blooms are asking for trouble!

Lovely views Wildrose shame the deer has eaten most of your flowers, how nice it would be to have one in your garden if only it curbed it's appetite for your flowers! :o)

You have a beautiful garden Chris and just think, you would have to do a lot more pruning and tidying if it wasn't for the deer:-)

Chris, I really do have garden envy now. What a wonderful garden you have ... :o)

The two poplars might have to come down as they are getting so tall and causing too much shade.

That could be expensive I fear!

Your garden looks really lovely Chris ! I didn't realise it was this big !

Oh dear, you'll have to get two or three quotes for the price, they do vary!
