Rare Double Flowered Delphiniums have fully double rosettes of petals which form stately spires and bear up to 50 florets per flower spike. From the Scottish bred Highlander series this stunning collection of double delphiniums are exceptionally hardy down to and impressive -20C (-4F).

The sturdy stems are short enough for container growing but still make fabulous cut flowers. Better still they will repeat flower if they are cut back immediately so you can enjoy them twice a season year after year.

Collection comprises 1 plant each of
Delphinium Crystal Delight (Lilac)
Delphinium Sweet Sensation (Purple)
Delphinium Morning Sunrise (White)

Cultural Information:
Pot up delphinium plants using free-draining compost and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Once they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting them outdoors. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds on moist well drained soil. Protect young delphiniums from slugs and snails.

Feed and water delphinium plants until they are fully established. These delphiniums are compact and should not require staking except on very windy sites. Cut spikes of faded flowers back to a flowering sideshoot to encourage a second flush of blooms to be produced. In autumn cut the old foliage back to ground level.
