Water storing gel in a mat so that you do not need to mix the gel with the compost. This water storing gel mat contains non-toxic fast acting gel that retains the moisture and reduces the amount of water used. You only need to water plants once a week when the water storing gel mat is placed into the compost as it forms a water resevoir under the roots of the plant. This supplies a constant supply of water to your plants at root level and the water stored in the compost is released to the plant slowly as and when it is required. Simply place one mat at root level in pots tubs and hanging baskets.
