i wantto take soon branches off a twisted willow, is there any thing i can treat it with so branches dont grow back

I prune mine to keep it to shape every year. They can very easlly get far too big.

Like Spritzhenry I prune each year too, I always save some of the pruned branches and dry them, they are great for flower arranging and making Christmas decorations.

They root very easily too, if you want to propagate them.
