My mahonia charity was mature when we moved here over 25 years ago........and looks fine

And we planted a very young one when we build our house 24yrs ago its 6ft tall has been pruned twice and now fruits are growing again.

Our Mahonia is looking very vigorous at around 25. Lots of black fruits, which the birds love. Loads of flowers earlier on. I reign it in every now and again if it gets too tall or straggly.

Ours is near the front gate so every so often we have to chop it back....bright yellow inside the bark.......
