I have planted pertunia surfina in my wall baskets,(they are in a conservatory) and are growing rather to well, is it ok to pinch out the tops so they do not go to leggy.

Well I wouldn't, not with surfinias - if they're not the 'mini' ones, they get up to 3 feet long and as much wide if there's room as the season goes on. If they were ordinary upright ones, yes, but surfinias, no.

i agree ,I have them in baskets every year and the grow very wide and long with no pinching. They give a lovely display all through Summer :-)
