Not sure if this is horse tail weed......but I think the weed is quite difficult to get rid of - prob best to use a systemic weedkiller, which travels via the leaves into the root system and kills it that way. Don't get this stuff on plants you want to keep tho, it will kill them too.

That isn't horse tail weed... no idea what it is as photo is out of focus but definitely not horse tail. If you have anything in that wee pond make sure you don't get one drop of systemic weedkiller in there.

Are you talking about the very low growing mat of green in front of the pond? It could be "Mind Your Own Business" but as MG says, it's hard to see the plant properly.

You should be celebrating as horsetail is impossible to eradicate, and you haven't got it! though I wasn't sure which of the four plants in the pic was the one you meant.

Me neither Steragram but none is horse tail for which DizzyLizzy should be truly grateful.
