i have a little type worm on the leaves of my tomato plants, can anyone tell me what they might be and if they will do any harm?

It's more likely to be caterpillars, I'd have thought. Either pick them off by hand, or spray them with bug killer - better to hand-pick, as it's not good to eat chemicals, is it!
