I've never even heard of it, but have just Googled it and found lots of info on the Guardian newspaper site. I'm a bit dubious about the phrase 'requires a long season to grow' as in UK this may not be available. The same problem happens with olives...we grow the plants OK but the fruit never matures. Report back in autumn!!
