Been researching this - you haven't said what variety of morello, but the hedelfinger is a mid to late flowering cherry and does need a pollinator, and another hedelfinger won't do it.

That morello is not listed as a pollinator for Hedelfinger, but that doesn't mean it won't work - depends whether they flower at the same time or not, so suggest you wait and see.
