Ist time I’ve grown Leeks successful.They are really strong plants , amazed as started off in greenhouse from seed in greenhouse,and when planted outside were quite spindly .My actual question is ....when do I dig them up

I agree, lift when you want to eat them. they will stay happy in the ground all through the winter.

Thanks .Ill give a try ,love thinly slice leeks added with red sliced onions .then top with grated cheese .
