Catalpa bignonioides.
Please advise me. I grew some of these from seed last year for fun. Is it possible to coppice them to make then shorter and possibly multi-stemmed? And if it is, when should it be done?

Glad you asked that, Ange, because I have done the same ... now two Catalpa about 18” tall 🙂

Yes you can. You won't get any flowers, but the leaves will be enormous. I have one and cut it back in spring when it's just starting to make new growth
