Hi Christina I grew 2 out of the 3,i had, 1 did not make it, I was given them from a friend who got them from a magazine, they are so stunning the fragrance is so sweet, they cant take any frost at all ,i kept mine in very large pots. and kept them in my shed when they had finished, theres alot of talk about them being toxic?? me personally didnt efect me, good luck,,8~))

Like so many plants, they're only toxic if you eat them!

I can't say too much about Brugmansia, but contact with Datura can be unpleasant for children with sensitive skin or a skin condition.

Datura flowers point up, whereas the Brugmansia flowers hang down Christina.

Also heard a rumour it was tried to be banned once due to its toxicity.. but I have to agree it has a gorgeous smell, think its strange how theres such a contrast in the names.. my friend has one tis only young but very fragrant already

I would suggest looking in nurseries or garden centers :D lol.... maybe looking online to who and where sell them is best.... I know a friends just bought one and apart from heavy rain being a lil problem its doing fine, but doesnt handle frost very well at all, so maybe pot it so you can move it indoors if it starts frosting over....Though will need to be a big pot coz they are fast growers. They have a huge appitite so need rich moist soil and feeding every couple of weeks, they grow fast but to get maximum blooms prune it down to a tree formation... though looks like a tree is actually a shrub used in ancient times as a hallucinagen drug made in tea. and did you know Brugmansia was named after Sebald Justin Brugmans, a Natural History professor in Holland... oh and is part of the nightshade family... think thats al I know but if remember anything else will let you know
