I have got a morning glory plant in my greenhouse that is in its own pot with a cane its climbed about 2/2.5 ft up the cane can I plant it up against my trellis and remove the cane for it to carry on up the trellis

Morning Glory (ipomea) will happily scramble all over your trellis. Make sure you harden it off before planting outside treated as an annual it will readily reach a height of ten feet or more.
