Hi folks, I have inherited 3 obilisks 2 of which I have found a use for. The third is only about 1metre high. Alas I am stumped as to how I utilise it. I would welcome any suggestions.

Hallo. Without photos it is very hard to advise where to put it, but myself I like to do things a bit different...I would put it in one of the borders amongs the flowers...just my idea of course.

You could put it in a pot and train ivy up it, round and round. You can keep it clipped it once its grown and it looks like a columnar bush. I did this once and looked OK.
I put a few annuals round the bottom to cheer it up in summer.

In a pot of clematis or tom thumbs .

Just put in garden and prop up anything that is flopping.

Be careful with your ivy variety though - you don't want one that plans to be 12 feet high! There are so many varieties of varying vigour and leaf size.
