Watsonia Apricot form

siris

By Siris

Watsonia Apricot form (Watsonia pillansii)

Another tender bulb, but I grow it in the border in the back garden, fleecing it overwinter. Bought 2015, flowered reliably ever since, unlike a Red which rotted the first winter.

Very lovely colour, Siris. Looks an attractive mix in your border.

It has pretty contrasting blue stamens. I wouldn't dare divide it. I did take seed, and had some seedlings, but no more, I neglected them.

No don’t disturb it when it’s looking so splendid....
