Veronica prostrata 'Trehane'

Veronica prostrata 'Trehane' (Veronica prostrata)

A tiny plant, as you can tell. Lovely yellow-green foliage against the blue flowers.

They get everywhere, Karen...I just love them! I encourage them...Have you got them in your garden? Erigeron karvinskianus?

Just found ours growing through the lavenders, thought we had lost it....!!

No B, I don't have any Erigeron. Used to have a lilac one I think, in my old garden, but have never had any here. I'm thinking that once the lamium has flowered I am going to start pulling it out as it is rather taking over everything. Once that has been removed I will have a lot more room for smaller plants.

Pretty Spritz. I have 'Trehane' on my slope, but not in flower yet :-))

I thought I'd lost the one in the top border - but it's still there, much to my surprise, as it got covered by a Nepeta flopping over it. So I have two, now...well, they're only tiny plants.....lol.

Ours grew like a weed, so I went mad a cleared it all away and then I could not find any, until it turned up with one of the lavender bushes...phew!!

It's too pretty to lose - I wouldn't want to be without it!

Nor would I we go back a long way.........

I discovered that its latin name isn't complete...I shall edit it! Now!!

I have some Veronica prostrata elsewhere - I hadn't realised that 'Trehane' was one as well! I live and learn...;-)

A lovely Veronica, and I really like how the erigeron is playing peek-aboo, doesn`t nature throw up some little gems.

Absolutely...but you have to 'stand and stare' to see them. :-))
