That's funny! They forgot to take down their Christmas decorations! LOL!

The Phoenix roebelenii (Pygmy date palms) look good, also.

Inland no more than 10-15 minutes past Fremont into Niles,the Pygmies are fried brown. Just an amazing contrast of microclimate. inland,no GBOP at all. Even Avocado's were frosted brown in 26f cold
Here? no signs of frost I can see.

I know there's some growing in the Central Valley of California, in protected areas. Some lived through 1972 and the 1990 freezes. They come back very quickly after frost damage. And if the trees are cared for very well they tolerate a lot more cold.
