Time for your close up! (Salix Caprea 'Kilmarnock')

Macro shot of the new Spring catkins of my Kilmarnock weeping Salix. The silvery sheen is quite lovely, and the new buds, oh so tactile! The beauty really is in the detail, when you get this up close!

Have you got the large tree, Cristina? Or a small weeping Kilmarnock as I have here, as this won't grow any taller than this.....?

bevi got the small 1 .only grows to bt5 ft. have just moved it as u not able to c it wrote it was. so its now in front of conservatory will put a pic on soon xx

I have 2 of them Pip, and have recently grown a Clematis 'Princess Diana' up through mine on this one~it has done really well this year, and kepted flowering interest as well!xx
