Geranium x magnificum

Geranium x magnificum (Geranium x magnificum)

I have a border with only these in it. I am really, really hoping they will hurry up and bloom...they've started to open!

They are Magnificent!

I used to cut them back after they'd flowered, to try to get another flush of flowers...then I read Alan Titchmarsh on them...he said they were the only ones that wouldn't flower again,,.so I don't bother now.

Doon, the only advantage of cutting them back is that they grow new fresh leaves for the rest of the summer, but as they die off in the autumn, is it worth it??
