I was trimming back the privet hedge in 'Shenstone' s back garden the other day when I spotted a ladybird on one of the lower branches. Haven't got into the GOY habit of gardening with a camera in my pocket yet so didn't get a photo.
I think these must have been lulled into coming out of hibernation by the brief period of warmer weather we had, hope they have survived the recent chill!
