Sorry you can't see the blue flowers on two of the Violas, but they're very pretty :)

Oh wow! you're going to be busy. It's nice to know about a company which sells online you can rely on. Happy gardening Sheila.

Very nice having so many new plants to "play around with"! 👏😂

23 Mar, 2021

What a haul! How lovely! Now all you have to do is plant out all 20+ of them... Have fun!

23 Mar, 2021

Haha, what are you going to do in ur spare time today??

Thanks all ... it’s been a wonderful day. First some gardening, then repotted a few cuttings in the greenhouse (luckily the delivery driver found me there because I’d left the side gate open). Then another delivery of two trellis panels for the front garden from our local GC where I’m on first name terms with some of the staff ... and had a lovely chat with that driver!

The sun is shining, now OH has come home and it’s time for a cuppa and the code word ... 🙂.

I bet you were delighted with these.
Have fun finding a home for them.

You lucky lady!!!! Hope you enjoyed your cuppa after doing some gardening and work in the greenhouse! 🫖

Thanks Kate! Each plant was carefully wrapped so it was quite exciting ... this nursery is a happy discovery. All hardy and all perennial so I’d better get the “right plant in the right place”! Very lucky to see that one of the Phlox looks as if it could be divided ...

How exciting !
Now you've named that nursery I'll have to have a look. I won't be able to not look lol :D

Thank you Hywel! This is the Scottish lady who bred Anemone ‘wild swan’ which was named Plant of the Year at Chelsea in 2011. I fell in love with it, and now have two more of her special Anemones ... they’re as irresistible as cherry blossom 🙂.

Make the most of the couple of warm days forecast for this week & get them planted up!

I moved most of the Geranium & Pelargonium cutting out of the kitchen & into the mini-greenhouse on the table on the balcony this morning! But first I had to empty it of the Geranium & Pelargonium "mother" plants from last year as they had all survived the winter without any casualties! Now what do I do with dozens of rooted cuttings? Ah, the dilemma of what to do with excess plants! 😂

30 Mar, 2021

Well done Balc ... perhaps your friends will take some cuttings off your hands? Don’t worry about my little collection ... my friend and gardener will be here early tomorrow morning so I have set them all out for her to plant (she’s younger and stronger than I am!).

Thank you, Sheila! 👍 I may give some to one of my brothers who asked me last year if I had any flowering plants I could give them as their daughter, about 6-7 years old, wanted to do some gardening & their garden was looking very bare.

I gave them some of the Geraniums I had no room for. They grew & flowered very well. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions I've not been able to go round to their house & see them.

It’s tough isn’t it Balc ... I know we’re all missing our families. It’s nearly two years since we’ve been with ours as they live in Australia 🙁.
