I agree with Stera........a very popular Magnolia here in the South grows so quickly, you need a lot of space for this one....says she with a Grandiflora planted in the border!!

"Do as I say, not as I do?"

I remember two elderly ladies in the Wisley Plant Centre looking at dogwoods (the ones grown for their flowers). The one they chose was going to get to at least 20 feet. When they were asked if they realised how big it was going to get, the reply was "by that time we won't be around to have the problem"
