Early snowdrops

Early snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis (Common snowdrop))

My first clump of snowdrops are properly out now. It just gladdens my heart every time I see them. I know winter is inevitable at some point, but with these little jewels, I also know that the later it arrives, the shorter it is likely to be! And once these are out...then more will soon follow.

This clump is always very early. The rest are nowhere near flowering. Same variety....the ones I bought on Ebay when we moved in.
