Phoenix roebelenii - Pygmy Date Palms

Phoenix roebelenii - Pygmy Date Palms (Phoenix roebelenii - Pygmy Date Palm)

These Pygmy date palms are growing in front of an old Eucalyptus deglupta which is native to the Philippines. Pygmy date palms are a dime a dozen and extremely common. I have several. Photo taken at the San Diego Zoo on November 2, 2016.

There's nice ones around. The ones at the zoo are pretty drought-stricken. There's several in front of an apartment building which get regular water and they are huge and look excellent!

It's Home...cannot remember the cross street, though.

There's several on Camino Del Rio North in the back of Qualcom Park. They're flowering right now.
