Thank you Linda..Cinderella also gifted me a Purple Heuchera,,which was a cross bred one,so I have three of those as well :o) They take any weather that is thrown at them, which is great ..I've only lost one to Vine Weevil, which was in a pot..

Super aren't they a lovely touch of colour :o)

We had the Tussock Moth caterpillars on our heucheras one year and the caterpillars were very hairy and brightly coloured.

Glad they are doing well Sandra, although I am wondering if it is also a cross, as mine is much lighter. It's still a nice one.

I think it might just be where this one is planted,Cinders,as it's in front of a Pieris, and a Skimmia,so i'm wondering if it's because I had to dig in Ericaceous compost ,and it's affected the colour? The other three are the same colours as the original one,you sent me..paler with two tone colours of peach and green they are in multipurpose compost further along that border..What do you think ? I might take photo's of the others,so you can see the difference..anyway,I like them all, whatever the colour :o)

Yes that could be the reason Sandra, hadn't thought about the soil changing its colour. My Georgia peach hasn't done very well lately, must dig it out as there may be weevil under it. I have found a lot about this year. I have lost quite a few,and no longer have my heuchera bed. It's now a veg patch growing shallots and carrots !

What a shame you don't have your Heuchera bed anymore, cinders. It was always so lovely..but then again, you can't eat those :o) It's not often I find Vine weevils..but they found one of the Purple one in a pot..which was in the top of my Chimney pot,the cheeky devils !

They are a real pest around here. Even got into my strepsil.

Love heucheras ! Is this one still doing well ?

Thanks Sandra, I still have lots of heuchera, just scattered about. One I particularly like is Caramel. I bought three new ones last year from Vicky (Plantagogo), will put a picture on later.

Cinders,I missed your comment too..what am I like ??
Actually, this Heuchera is much paler than it was last year, and more like it was when you first sent it to me..I wonder why that is? anyway,I still love it,whatever the colour ! I hope your new ones do you proud..I'm sure they will if they are from Vicky :o) x

They do seem to change sometimes, I wonder if it may be the soil type.

Quite a possibility Cinders,as there is a Camelia, and Peiris in that bed, which I mulch with Ericaceous compost each year..
