Last year it flowered in November and this year it waited until April. I like it when they flower in Spring because even the buds look pretty all winter.

It might sound hard to believe but I had never seen one of these for sale at a nursery or garden center until a couple years ago. I bought a white and this one but they both ended up being this color. I've seen them in gardens planted in front of conifers and always liked how they looked grouped together.
