I love wagtails too, so pretty.

I think this may be a juvenile as his/her face isn't that pure white of the adult ... so funny to watch it frantically wagging the tail feathers and almost running across the snow!

He looks so sweet and yet so cold.

He/she is here again today and the good news is that it is raining so the snow has gone ... hooray! Now the birds can forage for worms and insects again ... :o)

Lucky you Shirley - we've still got 4 inches of it, and still freezing cold! But I'm happy for you, honestly . . . :)

Try to be more convincing Sheila ... lol! I may have spoken too soon as sleet is now falling and it is really cold again. I know this as our daft cat has just asked to go out ... she sits by the door waiting ... and an Arctic blast came in!
