Last autumn I sampled my Cornus Mas (Cornelian Cherry) fruits and found them to be sweet but fairly bland. I never did get around to making anything with them, but I think the birds eventually took them all as they lay on the ground. Good result for the birds!

I am always longing for countryside, woods and fields, but here on the edge of this housing estate I can see fields but have no squirrels, no rabbits.....perhaps I should stay put!

Thanks N3!

Nah, not just now DD. Scott thinks we will move in about 5 years time. But I am not moving from here unless the house is nicer, the garden bigger and we are still close to the beach. So, there we are...just a few 'demands' to meet! :)))
