Love the way you've pruned it, it looks lovely! I just got a Donard's seedling this spring, i think it will be similar in colour to this...lovely, hope so!

Shirley, Karen I think Donard`s seedling is paler when I went to purchase one last year the lady in front of me picked up the last Donard and it looked paler than this so I got the one called Apple Blossom which is very pale, which I must say I like better than the one here in the photo will go and take a pic and put it on.
