Very pretty, although it looks shrubby Its planted each year as an annual is this correct Ibrahim?

It does look shrubby, i will prune it once the flowers fade. It is grown here all year round. It flowers all year round as well. I just have issues with its roots, it spreads horizontally and it distrubes plants next to it.
