There have been a few acer pics this autumn so thought i would show a shot of my prize acer as the leaves turn. Note its liking its new pot as its had a bit of new growth as well : )

Yes KS its my Sangokaku which as you say has great red stems. a really beautiful tree

I love it. I had one that I planted out and it perished with the wind, so I bought another...it's staying in it's pot in the sheltered japanese spot!

KS stick a pic of yours on. Mine doesnt like the dry wind either. I've also kept mine in a sheltered spot but sometimes the wind gets up and if its hot as well theres nowhere to run

That looks like my Sango Kaku Stevie. It's really beautiful and the bright red stems all winter too!
