Roses are for all (Rosa sps)

snow and rains do not deter this rose from blooming. The plant remained green through very cold months of december and coldest jan.could it be the canopy of Pices morinda under which it thrives.

I do love roses Arwadoo.....At last count I had 55 varieties...soon to increase to 58. My parents have moved and are selling their old house and they have two lovely roses at the old house which I plan to dig up and move to my garden just as soon as the ground thaws. I also have two successfully rooted cuttings of 'City of York' climber which I will plant out in the spring.
Your plan of creating a multi-coloured rose bush sounds wonderful. I will be very interested in seeing your results.
I haven't come across 'Prince de Morocco' before. It seems like a rose which would also do well here in Kamloops. We seem to have similar weather conditions.
